Authenticity is the baseline. Every item sold by FOR REAL is authenticated — full stop. We will never sell a piece that doesn't meet that standard, and we stand behind that completely.
Where a piece has been knowingly repaired, we say so. Clearly, in the listing, before you buy. You make the call with everything on the table.
What pre-loved actually means

We document every detail in our listings so you know exactly what you're getting. No surprises. Just a considered choice, made with full information.
What we do not cover
After it leaves us
Our guarantee applies to the condition of the piece at the time it leaves FOR REAL — as described and photographed in the listing. Once an item has been received, we cannot be held responsible for condition changes that occur after delivery.
- Wear, damage, or changes in condition after delivery are not covered.
- Changes in condition resulting from use, storage, cleaning, or handling after delivery are not our responsibility. We can't gurantee future life span, functionality or condition.
- Pre-loved pieces are not covered by a condition guarantee beyond what is stated at the time of sale.
If something genuinely isn't right
The 48-hour window
We inspect every piece before it ships. But if your order arrives in a condition that genuinely does not match what was described or shown — not a matter of taste, but a real discrepancy — open it, check it, and contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
Email info@forrealluxuryvintage.com with your order number, a clear description of the issue, and photos. We will review it and work toward a fair resolution. Please note condition complaints submitted after 48 hours of delivery cannot be considered.
